I spent 20+ years working in IT for a large company. There were not very many times that I didn't deal with some type of computer issues where important data was lost. From virus infections, accidental deletion, malware, and of course hard disk malfunctions. One of my regular jobs was to try and recover misplaced information from backups and from users computers.

After I left that organization I wanted to start helping others online backup their computers. It is one thing for a large company to online backup their data files when they have an IT staff, it is another for a normal home user to shield their information, photos and movies. I started doing research on various online backup services.

It was suggested to me that I should offer a little blurb about me besides what I used to do and what I do right now. I'm 45, merrily married and we have 1 girl, she is 14 years now.
